Attention all aspiring production employees: They are having a major party on the set of Fox's House, according to a lawsuit recently filed by a former assistant prop master. The suit alleges that a male employee was harassed when he refused to go along with his supervisors, who apparently frequent strip clubs, get drunk, smoke weed, inhale cocaine, and have sex in production trailers. When the male employee refused to participate, he was ostracized and, along with other employees (so goes the suit), was called derogatory and occasionally homophobic names like the f-word as well as the p-word, the b-word, the r-word, "slave," "dummy," and "idiot." Presumably this did not all take place in quick succession, because that would be weird.
It gets better. The suit also claims the supervisors brought guns to the set and had knife-throwing contests while drunk on tequila. WHOOOO-HOOOOO!!
The guy is suing for a million bucks. One question, though: How did any footage get shot if everyone was wasted and throwing knives at each other all the time? It seems reasonable to expect that Dr. House would just go yell at the people in question and make them quit it, right? At least until he'd wrapped for the day.
On a completely unrelated note, after the jump there's a clip of Hugh Laurie back in the '80s when he was British, interviewing his former comedy partner Stephen Fry (as Michael Jackson).
